We are currently looking to recruit individuals to join our team as a Care Assistant in a residential care home for young people and adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism (ASD) challenging behaviour and Mental Health issues.

  • Providing person-centred care
  • Support Service Users on their day to day activity such as food shopping, watching movies, going to the library, and any other indoor and outdoor activities
  • Documenting service user’s activities, reporting issues and recording incidents
  • Keeping young people safe
  • Managing challenging behaviour
  • Administering medicines

You do not need to have a lot of experience in care but you need to be open towards developing yourself through training and you should be willing to learn as every day can be different. We will help you complete the care certificate module, other mandatory training in care, and a possible progression to qualification in care, PLUS your Manager will supervise you.

If you are patient, good communicator, courageous and resilient, we would like to hear from you. We would like to know the life skills you are ready to share with our young residents. It could be your wisdom in life, study techniques, decision making, handling criticisms, or even your ability to cook, and your talents in music and sports etc.

The company has units around Kent, particularly in Gravesend/ Rochester / Chatham. All offers are subject to references and enhanced DBS check.
