For everyone at IDL, our values are what unite and guide us to deliver the best specialist therapeutic care. Our values underpin our processes and practice. It is our values which define our purpose. By delivering care and support in a way which is consistent with our values, we and the people we support will be more likely to be successful in meeting their outcomes.

Our values define what we do and how we do it. This inspires us to achieve high standards of specialist therapeutic care and support.

The practitioner team at IDL is made up of a Chartered Psychologist, Registered Manager, Deputy Mangers and professional therapeutic practitioners. It is essential that all practitioners in our team share our common values and our values underpin our; recruitment, supervision and therapeutic care and support processes.

Person Centred Care: We believe that person centred approaches support individuals to better manage their own health and wellbeing through bespoke care, planning and support. Where appropriate, the framework encourages shared decision making, outlining all reasonable options and ensuring that all information is personalised, accessible and useful.

Happiness: We believe everyone is entitled to Happiness, it is used in the context of mental or emotional states, including positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy.
